1. Who we are
Orgero ("we", "our", or "us") provides HR, payroll, project execution, and operations software. Our registered contact email is privacy@orgero.com.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, company name, phone number, and billing information provided during sign-up.
- Workforce data: employee records, attendance logs, payroll figures, leave requests, and project assignments that you or your employees enter into the platform.
- Usage data: page views, feature interactions, browser type, and IP address collected via server logs.
- Payment data: billing is handled by Stripe. We store only a tokenised reference — we never see or store full card numbers.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver and operate the Orgero platform.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, trial reminders, invoices).
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your workforce data for advertising.
4. Data storage and transfers
By default, your data is stored on servers located in your chosen region. If you opt for a self-hosted deployment, all data remains on your own infrastructure and we have no access to it. For managed-cloud customers, data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own jurisdiction. We use standard contractual clauses (SCCs) where required by applicable law.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for 90 days after cancellation to allow account recovery. After that period, data is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, port, or erase your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@orgero.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and security tokens. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies without your consent. A cookie consent banner is shown on first visit.
8. Third-party services
We work with the following sub-processors:
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
- Resend — transactional email (resend.com/privacy)
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active customers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
